HISPANIC STUDIES and ENGLISH ELECTIVES in Business, Marketing, Communications, Politics, Art, Culture, and Gender Studies (Semester and Academic Year)

Overview

  • Minimum GPA: 2.50
  • Language of instruction: English and Spanish
  • Language requirements: None. Open to all levels.
  • Place of instruction: Princesa Campus, city center.
  • Participants: International students
  • Upon arrival students take a placement exam to determine language proficiency
  • Students must choose at least one course in Spanish and other courses for a total of 180-225 hours during the semester (4-5 courses), and 360-450 (8-10 courses) for the Academic Year, each consisting of 45 hours of lectures. Early Start program in September (Intensive course) offers a 45-hour course in Spanish Language and Culture.

Credits are provided by Nebrija University. ALA recommends that all students receive approval of credits from their advisors at their home institution before they register. Number of credits approved will also depend on students’ home institution.
