Active Learning Abroad (ALA) and The Foundation for International Education (FIE) https://www.fie.org.uk/ have forged a unique partnership to provide high quality study abroad opportunities in Spain. Active Learning Abroad (ALA) is FIE’s partner and overseas office for all students studying for a summer or semester at a university in Spain. The ALA offices and staff in Spain work closely with FIE’s staff in the U.K. and the U.S. to provide all students with services and support throughout their experiences. This ensures that each student has an individualized experience both during the pre-departure stage and while in country.

FIE represent ALA in North America to promote the Spanish universities and these Spain programs throughout North America through university visits, study abroad fairs, international education conferences, internet ads, study abroad browsers, FIE websites and widespread distribution of written materials.
